Field trips are an important part of the school experience.
On May 1st, second graders had the opportunity to travel off school grounds to Westmoor Park to partake in activities tied to their science standards. There they studied how animals are adapted to various environments, while getting to see and touch rabbits and turtles. Students also learned about watersheds, and explored how water and pollution move through the landscape by going on a hike and looking for signs of erosion along a stream.
