This is the image for the news article titled Mrs. Murphy Taught Third Graders About the Geography of ConnecticutThe third grade students have been learning about the geography of Connecticut during their social studies block with Ms. Carini. During their enrichment block, Mrs. Murphy took them on a tour of Connecticut without leaving the school!

Mrs. Murphy brought in a huge map of Connecticut for the students to explore. Students found their hometowns, our capital city, and the town in which our school is located. They also walked the border, traveled to New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, and became the shape of Connecticut's rivers and landforms.

Below are two students acting out the Litchfield Hills!
