Inspiring a Love for Reading

What an incredible week we've had celebrating Read Across America. Read Across America Week is celebrated every March. It begins on the birthday of the beloved author, Dr. Seuss and aims to encourage reading and its benefits among children and young adults. Events are organized across the nation by schools and organizations. This week at Reggio, students were invited to participate in a variety of spirit days – such as hat day, dress as your favorite book character and "Cozy Up with a Book" day where students wore their Pj's! Students were also treated to several guest readers including our Vice Principal Mrs. Drake, members of the UCONN women’s soccer & Lacrosse teams, and several of our very own Reggio parents.
