On this day, we honor Ruby Bridges, who at just six years old bravely integrated her all-white school in 1960. On her first day at William Frantz Elementary, Ruby was escorted by U.S. Marshals, facing protests and threats to her safety. Today, Reggio students continue her legacy of activism by walking around our school building, emulating her courageous steps into school that day.
